Providing all citizens of Oklahoma with convenient access to fair, effective, inexpensive and expeditious dispute resolution proceedings. Early Settlement operates under the authority of the Oklahoma Dispute Resolution Act 12 O.S. 1801 et seq. and according to the Rules and Procedures for the Dispute Resolution Act.

How Much will Mediation Cost?
There is no cost to use Early Settlement's Mediation services for cases filed in court. For cases that have not been filed by the court the initiating and responding party must each pay a $5.00 fee. Fee waivers are available upon request.

Office Location
The Early Settlement Central Office is located in the Cleveland County Courthouse at 201 South Jones Avenue, Norman, Oklahoma 73069. Offices are on the second floor: Rooms 225 and 226 West.

Becoming a Mediator
If you are interested in volunteering your time to make your community and surrounding area a more peaceful place, we are interested in hearing from you!
Early Settlement trains people all around Oklahoma to become mediators within their own communities. Our mediators receive outstanding training, along with the mentorship necessary to become competent and successful mediators.
